Here we go again, with Trump. For a while he was only a candidate. Now he’s President, and everything he says must be taken seriously, or at least reported seriously. Even before his inauguration, Donald Trump began to disrupt the world. One danger is that he comes to be seen simply as an agitator, just seeking attention.

Ina 2023 landmark case, Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. (SFFA) v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, the Supreme Court held that Harvard’s admissions process for new students violated the US Constitution’s guarantee of “equal protection of the laws.” The Court found that the Harvard’s system for admitting new students did not meet any “measurable or rational” standards.
