    Microsoft is expanding the toolbox of recovery options for Windows 11. After recently adding the ability to reinstall Windows via Windows Update—at least in version 24H2—the company is now introducing Quick Machine Recovery (QMR). The new feature currently being tested in the Windows Insider Program’s Beta Channel. Quick Machine Recovery is the first tangible result of Microsoft’s work following the massive CrowdStrike incident of 2024, which knocked out large parts of the global IT infrastructure.

    Aston Martin and Curv Racing Simulators have unveiled the AMR-C01-R, an exclusive carbon fiber racing simulator rig that combines motorsport technology with advanced graphics and stylish design. Only 50 will be made and the price starts at—wait for it—about $75,000. The new model builds on the first AMR-C01 that launched in 2020, but has been upgraded with a new seating design inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.

By the end of April, most users will be greeted by a new login and registration experience that involves a restructured flow, fewer elements per screen, and better scalability for different screen sizes.

    OpenAI has updated ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode feature, promising a more natural conversation experience. The aim is to make the AI-powered assistant more pleasant to talk to and less prone to interrupting you mid-sentence. In a video posted on the OpenAI YouTube channel on Monday, researcher Manuka Stratta showed off the improvements. One of the most common annoyances with voice assistants is that they tend to interrupt you when you pause to think. That’s now been fixed here.
