Getting paid to watch baseball, specifically the Minnesota Twins for the Star Tribune. No, I can't believe it, either.

That’s the kind of I’ll-do-anything attitude that has made the 25-year-old righthander a rising prospect in the Twins’ system. First, the 2021 sixth-rounder agreed to constant expansions to his fastball/changeup repertoire he brought from his days at Sacramento State. He added a slider in 2022, a curveball a year later and splitters, cutters and sinkers along the way. “I don’t know if there are any more pitches for me to throw,” Adams said with a laugh.

What a disappointment for the Twins. Royce Lewis, who has returned from five previous injury layoffs with grand slams, two-homer games and at least one hit in each of them, couldn't provide a Roycian thrill for the Target Field attendees who simply expect such heroics from him by now. But truthfully, Lewis said Tuesday, when he felt that sudden pain in his hamstring as he ran to first base on March 16, he knew he wouldn't be playing for a while. "When they first told me the [diagnosis], I would've told you I probably wouldn't be here right now," Lewis said, shortly after being activated from the injured list.
