Organisers of the FIM World Supercross Championship have confirmed a change to the 2025 calendar as London will no longer host the season opener. The London Stadium was expected to host its first ever World Supercross event, which was set to be London’s first in general. However, inability to meet the “key requirements” means it's been dropped altogether.

A shareholder meeting is scheduled on May 14, during which Harley-Davidson and H Partners will discuss the control of the H-D board. According to reports, H Partners has launched a “withhold-the-vote” campaign, which is targeting three Harley board members, including Harley-Davidson CEO Jochen Zeitz, who has confirmed he will leave his role later this year. H Partners claims that the board is not aligned with shareholder interests and that it has led to the CEO succession process being mishandled.

Michael Dunlop has a new partner for the major 2025 road races in the form of Peter Hickman and Davey Todd’s old team, FHO Racing. Dunlop took three wins during last week’s North West 200, which was a tally matched by Todd, although the former controversially won the final superbike race of the weekend, leaving Todd and fellow team-mate Hickman in a lot of frustration.

Patents filed by Suzuki have surfaced, showing that it is still forging on with its small capacity (250cc) Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system. The new system is thought to be heading to the V-Strom 250 and GSX-250R, both of which share the same 249cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine.
