Motorcycle News’ publisher, Bauer Media, has confirmed that the MCN London Motorcycle Show is no more. The long-running event at London’s ExCeL has been axed, with Bauer citing rising costs and a drop in exhibitor numbers as the key reasons behind the decision. The show had been a fixture in the calendar since 2007, but it’s now been scrapped in favour of bolstering support for Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham.

Adur and Worthing Council has introduced motorcycle parking charges that begin today. That now means you could be paying up to £7.20 to park in one of the region's designated car parks. Before today, motorcycles could use the council's own car parks for free, as long as they weren’t parked in a bay that was specified for a particular road user or vehicle.

As-new bikes that are still locked in their delivery crate come around now and then, but few make us stop and take notice quite like this Yamaha OW-01 has. The bike is up for auction over on Iconic Motorbikes, and to say that this is just about as original as OW-01s get is a massive understatement. For starters, only 500 examples of the FZR750R (better known by its OW-01 codename) were produced.

Benda has a raft of cruisers in its ranks, although the recently announced Rock 707 might just be the brand's most interesting to date. Like many manufacturers, Benda is looking to open up the market to more riders and is adding an auto clutch option to the new bike. It’s not totally defined how the system works, although from looking at the images, we can have a pretty good idea.
