The Pennsylvania Milk Board will keep the state’s dairy premium unchanged through the end of this year. The board decided June 4 to keep the premium at $1 per hundredweight plus a fuel adjuster. The Pennsylvania State Grange and Farm Bureau requested the decision during a May 7 hearing. Board Chairman Rob Barley and consumer member Kristi Kassimer Harper voted to extend the premium, but member Jim Van Blarcom dissented.
