VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The organizers call it an “epic event with live bands, single-fin surfing, and intermittent vibe curation.” In its 13th year, "Logstradamus" continues to gain momentum at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. It’s an injection of positivity, as costumed surfers take to the water to catch waves as part of a unique annual surf contest. It started small more than a decade ago as a hangout among friends. The event now has official sponsors, including Vans and Wave Riding Vehicles.

NORFOLK, Va. — Is there another bunny boom happening in Hampton Roads right now? Typically, you may see one or two rabbits in your neighbor’s yard when you go for a stroll. But this summer, once again, you may see double or even triple that. After seeing bunny sightings across Hampton Roads posted on social media last June we reported on the potential rabbit population surge. One man in Virginia Beach reported seeing 28 of them during a walk that month.

NORFOLK, Va. — Early voting for the June primaries is underway in Virginia, and two candidates are vying to represent the Democratic Party in the 1st Congressional District U.S. House race this November. The winner will face longtime Republican Congressman Rob Wittman. Virginia's 1st Congressional District covers parts of Richmond and the Historic Triangle – Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. One of the candidates, retired Army Colonel Herb Jones Jr., is Wittman’s former opponent.
