Des Moines Christian School's planned new high school campus may change locations without having to move. Des Moines Christian bought more than 100 acres of land in 2024 in Grimes to create a separate high school to accommodate the growing number of students at its current high school and middle school campus at 13007 Douglas Parkway in Urbandale. But Des Moines Christian has requested Urbandale annex the land in Grimes and bring it into the city.
