For comparison, in 2022, Kansas voters upended poll data and predictions when they rejected a ballot measure that would have allowed lawmakers to tighten abortion restrictions or ban the procedure outright. Groups opposing the ballot measures raised millions of dollars from donors in other states, including the Sixteen Thirty Fund. And 2023, Ohioans decided to amend their state constitution to guarantee the right to abortion and other reproductive rights.
