Barcelona are working to seal their first piece of transfer business this summer. They want to make Espanyol's Joan Garcia their new starting goalkeeper. The dazzling teenager has signed a new long-term deal that will keep him at the club until 2031. The contract is active from now, rather than when Yamal turns 18 on July 13, and it puts him alongside the squad's top earners such as Robert Lewandowski.

His new terms, that will take him through into the next decade, make him one of the club's highest-paid players.
