AbstractAutophagy Conjugation machinery forms a center piece of autophagy and is essential for sequestration of a broad range of cargo destined for degradation. Apart from its role in canonical autophagy, recent evidence suggests an unconventional role of conjugation machinery. Membrane Atg8ylation is one of the manifestations of autophagy, wherein ATG8 conjugation machinery recruit mammalian ATG8s (mATG8s) to the damaged membranes for repair or removal.

Saree Club, Sydney chapter began 2024 with loads of colour and gusto. Creativity is personal and unique. It also prompts individuals to step outside their comfort zones and try something different. With this intention a painting session was organised. On Sunday, 21 January the heroine of the sarees draped by the ladies was her pallu. The event was called ‘ Pallus, Paints & Pizzas’. Ladies who had never held a brush or dabbled with paints before, participated with no qualms or inhibitions.

Children begin to learn with their first cry. They very quickly learn the importance of their cry and about all the attention they can get. With every passing day they learn something new and begin to discover themselves and the little world around them. They learn to smile, then they discover their toes and learn to wrap their tiny fingers around your fingers. It is fascinating to watch them.

I was the lady wife of a serving Army officer for 20 years. Being married to a man in uniform while is glamorous comes with its own set of responsibilities and decorum to follow. The role of the lady wife though not be as important as that of the officer’s , is still quite an important one,especially when she is the the commanding officer’s wife, first lady of the unit. My understanding is that the role of the wife of a foreign diplomat is no different.
