Portland to host opening press conference Jan. 16, all Coachella Valley Invitational matches will be streamed live PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers announced their full 2025 preseason schedule today, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky. Ahead of the club’s 50th anniversary season, the Timbers are set to begin preseason on Jan. 11 at the Timbers Training Facility when players report to training camp. Former Timbers2 forward will work with the U-18 and U-16 squads. PORTLAND, Ore.  –  The Portland Timbers Academy is bringing a former Timbers2 player into their coaching ranks, welcoming Ryan Sierakowski as the new U-18 and U-16 Assistant Coach. Sierakowski, 27, first arrived to the Rose City after being in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft from Michigan State University.
