A power outage early Tuesday morning led to some late starts and school closings on one of Yankton’s coldest days so far this year. At approximately 3:30 a.m., NorthWestern Energy experienced a fault on the powerline feeding two substations that serve customers in the Yankton area, NorthWestern Energy Public Relations Specialist Jo Dee Black told the Press & Dakotan.
