A Wagner man pleaded guilty to charges of domestic violence in a Yankton courtroom Thursday. In accordance with a plea agreement, Jason Lewis Dion Jr., 32, entered a guilty plea to one count domestic abuse aggravated assault — strangulation, a Class 3 felony. Onward Yankton has embarked on the next leg of the journey to restore Yankton’s Dakota Theatre. This week construction began on the aging facade of the 123-year-old structure. The project involves removal of the iconic ceramic panels that grace the front of the building, replacing the failing wooden structure to which the panels are fixed, refurbishing the panels and reinstalling them, according to project contractor K Construction of Yankton.
