In the heart of Africa, a digital revolution is gaining momentum. Nigeria, a key player in the continent’s economy, is poised to become a digital powerhouse under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its forthcoming Digital Trade Protocol (DTP). With the AfCFTA DTP now adopted by state parties of the AfCFTA, its implementation in Nigeria, alongside the country’s own digital economy strategy, is gaining traction.
