1 Introduction Lung cancer (LC) remains the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally [1]. It was estimated that more than 234 000 new cases were diagnosed as LC, and over 170 000 patients die of LC annually [2, 3]. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the primary pathological subtype of non-small cell LC (NSCLC), accounting for 50% of NSCLC.
