Tumor microenvironment-regulated nanoplatform for enhanced chemotherapy, cuproptosis and nonferrous ferroptosis combined cancer therapy† Therapeutic approaches combining various treatments have attracted intensive interests for tumor therapy. Nevertheless, these strategies still face many obstacles, such as overexpressed GSH and hypoxia, owing to the intricate tumor microenvironment (TME).

The study investigated the effects of dietary probiotic of dual-strain Bacillus subtilis (BS) on production performance, intestinal barrier parameters, and microbiota in broiler chickens. In a randomized trial, male broiler chickens were allocated into three groups, a control group (basal diet), BS300 group (basal diet with 300 mg/kg BS), and BS500 group (basal diet with 500 mg/kg BS). The inclusion of 500 mg/kg BS significantly reduced the feed conversion ratio by 4.55% during the starting phase.

Blazars are the most extreme active galactic nuclei (AGNs) with relativistic jets aligned to our line of sight (Urry & Padovani 1995). The spectral energy distribution (SED) of blazars consists of two broad non-thermal emission components in the log ν−log νL diagram. The low-energy component, peaking between the infrared to X-ray bands, is believed to originate from the synchrotron emission of relativistic electrons within the jet.

In this work, a time-dependent modeling is developed to study the emission properties of blazars in the low state. Motivated by various observations, we speculate and assume that numerous discrete radiation zones throughout the jet of a blazar contribute to the broadband emission. We model the temporal evolution of the electron spectrum in each emission zone taking into account the injection, cooling and escape of relativistic electrons.
