DiscussionThe LFA-REAL system was developed to capture evaluations of the same manifestations by both clinicians and patients so that a more complete picture of lupus disease activity can be evaluated.19–21 The data presented here describe the measurement properties of the LFA-REAL compared with both clinician-reported and patient-reported outcome measures in a phase III clinical trial of ustekinumab which involved patients with moderate-to-severe SLE.
