INTRODUCTION Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has attracted wide attention as a clean energy alternative to internal combustion engines (Guo et al., 2022). The membrane electrode assembly (MEA) is the key material of PEMFC, which determines the performance and life of the battery. As an important part of MEA, electrocatalyst plays an important role in accelerating the slow oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), and ORR is the rate-limiting step of cathode PEMFC (Debe, 2012).

Keratin-derived sorbents for efficient removal of copper ions from aqueous solutions Keratin, prized for its environmentally friendly nature, unique chemical composition, and binding ability, has emerged as a promising adsorbent for untreated industrial wastewater. In this study, we developed a composite derived from hydrolyzed keratin and diallylamine. We assessed the adsorption performance of this composite against metal wastewater at varying temperatures, times, and pH values.
