This study investigated potential Ross River virus (RRV) exposure sites in Greater Brisbane during the Queensland COVID-19 lockdown (January-July 2020). Using RRV notifications, cluster identification techniques, and mobile phone data for movement network analysis, the study examined 993 RRV cases and 9 million movement trajectories from residential RRV cluster areas (hot-spots).

This experiment, protocol and practices were approved by the Production and Companion Animals - Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) of The University of Queensland, Australia (approval number 2020/AE000411). A total of 128 one-day-old Ross 308 broiler chickens of mixed sexes were purchased from Darwalla Group (QLD, Australia). Chickens were housed at the Queensland Animal Science Precinct (QASP) of The University of Queensland (Gatton Campus QLD, Australia).

ResultsCharacteristics of studies included in the reviewIn total, 110 studies were retrieved from the customized searches. After removing the duplicates, the first screening was performed on 73 studies. Fifty-five studies were removed, including records that did not report original data, records that did not have an English full text, and the inclusion of animals that were not cattle.
