Over the past 150 years, retinal imaging has evolved from early identification of basic gross anatomical characteristics to the sophisticated and efficient usage that is common today. We will discuss the early history of retinal imaging, the progression to gold-standard imaging of today, and address what we can expect from emerging technologies in the field of oculomics in the future.

This bi-centric prospective-longitudinal observational study is investigating adult patients with emotional disorders receiving routine CBT treatment in one of the two outpatient units of the universities of Giessen and Marburg, Germany. During the probatory phase preceding psychotherapeutic treatment, patients are asked to participate in the TransTAM project if they report having psychological problems related to the disorders specified below and fulfill no exclusion criteria (see below).

The fibrosis marker collagen type I (COL1) and myofibroblast marker α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) were first assessed in lung biopsy samples from control and IPF patients. Case presentationA seven-year-old female Anglo-Nubian goat was presented due to recurrent episodes of blood mixed vaginal discharge for examination in the Veterinary Clinic for Reproductive Medicine and Neonatology in Giessen. The goat had delivered two kids 16 weeks prior, and the parturition occurred without any complications. Upon presentation, the goat appeared to be in good general condition with vital signs in the normal range.
