Running in the 2025 Festival of Miles at St. Louis University High School, Hedengren obliterated the girls national high school record for a mile run, clocking in at 4 minutes and 23.50 seconds to win the event's Girls Championship Mile. Hedengren owned the previous record ofย 4:26.14 set in March in New York.
