I’m a former clinical psychologist with a specialization in childhood trauma so the question I get asked the most often is, “Are your books real?” The answer to that is a disturbing yes. I based her in large part on many of the pretty terrific, pretty cool real life woman journalists that I have worked with myself over the years in the New York City media world.
