DALLAS — Dallas and Fort Worth are sinking faster than any other inland U.S. cities, according to a new study published in Nature Cities. A group of researchers measured, using satellite observations, the vertical displacement in 28 urban cities across the U.S. The study found that Dallas and Fort Worth are sinking at a rate of about 4 millimeters per year, the second and third most of the 22 largest U.S. cities.
