BAY OF GREEN BAY (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities have recovered the body of a woman who went missing nearly five months ago. In a news release Friday, the Menominee Police Department confirmed Lisa Pipp’s body was recovered Wednesday in the Bay of Green Bay. Pipp, 42, of Greendale, disappeared Jan. 13 after she walked away from a vehicle on the ice of Green Bay, near the lighthouse in Menominee, during an argument. She did not take a jacket or her cell phone.

(WTAQ-WLUK) — Children in communities across Northeast Wisconsin will have a chance to receive comic book-inspired Brewers trading cards from local police officers. It’s a program that began last year through a partnership between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Police Department. Officers distributed Brewers trading card prints to kids, finding common ground through their mutual love for baseball.

MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A jury found the man accused of murdering and dismembering a 19-year-old woman in Milwaukee last year guilty on all counts. Friday marked day nine of the Maxwell Anderson trial. He was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, hiding a corpse and arson of property other than a building. His sentencing is set for Aug. 15.

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay pool will be closed on what was supposed to be its opening day of the season due to low staffing. The Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department posted Joannes Aquatic Center will be closed Saturday but is expected to be open Sunday at noon. Click here to apply to become a lifeguard. The city’s other pools — Resch Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool — will be open to kick off the summer season from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.
