    Nuestro Casa para Todos—which means “Our House for All”—is a new ELCA ministry serving students and neighbors of the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras. In March 2023, Nuestro Casa para Todos began worship services for the community. In September of that year, it launched a ministry to accompany and serve the university community. The Caribbean Synod tried to do something new by renovating a former church building that sat empty near the campus.

    We listened—print is coming backThere are few instances where we can recall people publicly admitting they were wrong, though as humans we should be saying that more often. However, this is one of those moments. Last year Living Lutheran ceased as a print publication and continued as a digital-only service because of financial constraints. Running a monthly publication grew too expensive during a time of consolidated resources and shrinking readership.
