Calling all horror fans! Something eerily exciting is coming to York for the first time this year. Horror-themed comic convention Horror Fest is making its debut in York in June. A unique York gift shop has closed. Il Gusto, located on Low Petergate, has closed its doors and emptied its shelves after not renewing its lease. The shop specialised in ‘the theatre of taste’, and offered products like liqueurs, spirits, oils, and vinegars in quirky bottles. Though the York store has closed, shoppers can still browse for all their favourite products online.
