, 11 April 2025 Blue Prince is well on its way to being the best puzzle game of 2025, but that doesn’t mean the game is free from certain quirks. Dogubomb’s puzzle enigma can often be as frustrating as it is fascinating. The game’s RNG can feel like it’s working against you, cryptic clues can seem impossible to solve, and the shapeshifing design of the game means you’re constantly having to find your feet. This sentiment hits hardest when you’re first starting out, and believe me, I’ve been there.

, 7 April 2025 Before I hand you the keys to Blue Prince and its sprawling puzzle mansion, I’d like to give a fair warning. When Don't Nod's trailer for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage aired during 2023's The Game Awards, I dropped my entire bourbon biscuit in my tea. The glossy trailer follows four teen girls goofing around in the summer of '95, thrashing out on guitars, watching dreamy sunsets, and hanging out in poster-plastered bedrooms. The trailer ends with the perfect hook too.

, 20 December 2024 Czech studio Amanita Design are the masters of whimsical point-and-click puzzle games. The team’s roster speaks for itself, my personal favourites Machinarium, Botanicula, and Creaks burst with charm, and I wouldn’t dream of not mentioning the iconic space gnome adventure Samorost and its equally wonderful sequels Samorost 2 and Samorost 3.
