Dogubomb’s puzzle enigma can often be as frustrating as it is fascinating. The game’s RNG can feel like it’s working against you, cryptic clues can seem impossible to solve, and the shapeshifing design of the game means you’re constantly having to find your feet. This sentiment hits hardest when you’re first starting out, and believe me, I’ve been there.

This is a puzzle game best played knowing as little about it as possible - I would even go as far as avoiding the game's trailer. It's an adventure best experienced if you step through its doors free from expectations, guarantees, and assumptions. Here are some breadcrumbs for those wanting more of a tease.

You're given one simple task: find out what happened to Marissa Marcel, a short guide on the basic controls of the game, and then you're off, armed with nothing but intrigue and the sense that something isn't quite right. The result is one of the most interesting and deeply memorable games I've ever played.

A mystery thriller, deep inside a puzzle box of a house, all told through a text-based adventure. Developers Patrones y Escondites, you’ve got my attention. Something about Your House feels very familiar, almost like I know this story from somewhere.

When playing Diacritic, I clock in for an honest day’s work just like anybody else, even if that work ostensibly serves a shadowy bureaucracy. Sure, the Eastern Coast of England (or what remains of it) is choked by volcanic ash, but that's not my problem.
