A man is dead after being stabbed in a parking lot in the 700 block of Gallatin Pike South early Monday morning, Nashville police said. An officer with the Madison Precinct was driving in the area when he heard the fight around 12:05 a.m. and pulled in the parking lot outside Madison First Baptist Church, according to a news release from the Metro Nashville Police Department. The officer found two men on the ground arguing about the stabbing and a robbery.
