DiscussionThis review found that between 2010 and 2023, only 1 of 24 interventional trials (CRYOSTAT-2) disaggregated results by sex for the primary outcome.10 This trial was funded by the NIHR, which has not adopted the SAGER guidance and does not require reporting of sex-disaggregated treatment effects. The NIHR has published its own inclusivity statement, although that statement was published after CRYOSTAT-2 was awarded funding.
