I’m taking a moment out of my busy day, a day where I get to do any damn thing I want to do, to tell all you buggers going on and on about Joe Biden’s age to back off and stop embarrassing yourselves. Joe Biden’s age is nothing compared to Donald Trump’s flagrant, gross criminal behavior. You’re trying to compare the two with age being the only factor, noting that Biden is older than Trump so every gaffe, every slip, every hesitation must mean Biden is as unfit as Trump.

How on earth could it be November already? We had snow yesterday. Just a dusting, nothing to get all excited about, but the decks and roofs sparkled with it while the still-warm earth dissolved the flakes as they landed. It didn’t last long. Still, it was a sign. A warning of what’s to come. A signal that it might be time to pack up and leave, at least for the winter. I’ve already been packing to leave this place, with the idea that I’d be moving on for good. But it’s not going to happen. Not yet.

I won’t go into the sad story of my intermittent internet again. As hard as it is to bear, I’m getting a little bored with talking about it. Except to say the company that services the island has now had to admit it could be another two or three WEEKS before the issues are resolved.
