In clinical practice, thymopentin (TP-5) is a commonly utilized immunomodulatory peptide drug. The relatively short half-life of TP-5, however, significantly limits its applicability in immunotherapy. Inspired by the structure of the TLR2 ligand lipopeptide Pam3CSK4, fatty acid-modified TP-5 peptides were designed and synthesized in this study. Utilizing its amphiphilicity, they were sonicated to assemble into nanoparticles with the diameters of approximately 100 nm.

The development of multimodal language models (MLMs) such as GPT4-V and BLIPs [1,2] have enabled many multimodal applications such as answering complex image-based queries; for example, “How many students are raising their hands in this image?”. These models rely heavily on instruction data—datasets that pair visual content with corresponding questions and answers. However, generating such data is a challenging task due to the limitations of existing approaches.

Correction to: Nature Medicine https://doi.org/10.1038/s41591-024-03076-6, published online 17 June 2024. In the version of this article initially published, there were two typographical errors in the SS (Sezary syndrome) row in the Arm A section of Table 3. The PRR (partial response rate) for both all patients and at MTD only should have been shown as “50 (2)” instead of “29 (2)” and “40 (2)”, respectively. The errors do not affect the conclusions of the study.

AbstractTissue stiffness plays a crucial role in regulating morphogenesis. The ability to measure and monitor the dynamic progression of tissue stiffness is important for generating and testing mechanistic hypotheses. Methods to measure tissue properties in vivo have been emerging but present challenges with spatial and temporal resolution especially in 3D, by their reliance on highly specialised equipment, and/or due to their invasive nature.
