The Vanderburgh County Coroners Office ,the Vanderburgh County Sheriffs Office and  the US Marshals Service are investigating the death of Vicky White, fugitive from Alabama. White died at Deaconess Hospital at 7:06 PM. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

WSNC, City, and Vanderburgh Health Department will work to make getting a vaccine as easy as possible for Fall Festival goers.

WSNC and Mayor: Everyone who attends the Fall Festival, and especially those who volunteer, are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

West Side Nut Club and Mayor Lloyd Winnecke: at this time, the Fall Festival is on.

Bus drivers and bus riders will continue to wear face masks even if fully vaccinated.

EVSC: Masks will be recommended but not required for students and staff in 2021-22.

Deputy Mayor Steve Schaefer will take over management of the Parks Department.

Mayor says EPD is leading the investigation but he is requesting an independent audit.

Investigation has discovered seven out-of the-ordinary invoices at the Parks Department. Mayor says no city money is missing.
