The Carters had been running a similar online store from their home, and it had become a bit chaotic, according to Michael. In addition, they had set up at flea markets and sold on Facebook Marketplace.

FILECouples looking for a special place to celebrate Valentine’s Day won’t have to look far. The Portland Preservation Foundation (PPF) has just the event, and it’s downtown at the Temple Theatre. The Sweetheart Dinner and Show will be held on Feb.14 at 6 p.m. Guests will have a delicious dinner followed by a concert by Davis and Davidson featuring classical love songs.

She replaces Linda Ackerman who retired after 29 years in that position,Rippy is currently the library director at Westmoreland Public Library. She joined the library in 2021.
