FILECouples looking for a special place to celebrate Valentine’s Day won’t have to look far. The Portland Preservation Foundation (PPF) has just the event, and it’s downtown at the Temple Theatre. The Sweetheart Dinner and Show will be held on Feb.14 at 6 p.m. Guests will have a delicious dinner followed by a concert by Davis and Davidson featuring classical love songs.

She replaces Linda Ackerman who retired after 29 years in that position,Rippy is currently the library director at Westmoreland Public Library. She joined the library in 2021. She described her three years as director as a wild three years, as she learned the ins and outs of running a library.
