The Duke Energy Convention Center is under construction, forcing popular events to move or postpone events in 2024 and 2025. Construction began in July on the $240 million renovation project, which will involve remodeling the building’s exterior with an elongated glass façade, and modernizing and expanding exhibit, meeting and ballroom spaces inside. Work is underway at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

Fremont County’s newest stadium held its opening game Wednesday afternoon when the Ft. Washakie Eagles played the Arapahoe Falcons at the new field just south of the Arapahoe Charter High School. It was the culmination of over a decade of planning and saving by the Fremont County School District 38 Board of Education and the stadium is magnificent.
