The Duke Energy Convention Center is under construction, forcing popular events to move or postpone events in 2024 and 2025. Construction began in July on the $240 million renovation project, which will involve remodeling the building’s exterior with an elongated glass façade, and modernizing and expanding exhibit, meeting and ballroom spaces inside. Work is underway at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
