Since its launch, Disney+ has been available on most major platforms but missing from some smaller TV platforms. It is now coming to Whale OS. Whale OS, previously known as Zeasn OS, powers TVs such as Philips models with Saphi OS as well as budget and mid-range TVs from brands like JVC, Sharp, RCA, Vestel, Aiwa and Telefunken. In 2021, Disney+ expanded to 'powered by webOS' Smart TVs from brands other than LG, and in 2024, it arrived on Titan OS. Now, the Disney+ app is coming to Whale OS.

After the price increase on console games from 70 to 80 Euro with the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series, Nintendo is raising prices yet again to 90 Euro on some games. Nintendo confirmed the higher prices for the Switch 2 console, accessories and games on its European websites, including in Germany and Spain. On the website, Mario Kart World is listed for 80 Euro for a digital version and 90 Euro for a physical cartridge, which will likely be 80 dollar in the US.

Following in Samsung's footsteps, LG will soon remove Google Assistant, removing a key feature that has been promoted since 2018. LG introduced Google Assistant support back in 2018, touting better content discovery and easier TV control. Starting May 1, 2025, LG will disable Google Assistant not just in new TVs but also in existing models already in consumers' living rooms, according to 9to5Google.
