New Delhi: Indian Air Force corporal Tage Hailyang -- gunned down by terrorists at Pahalgam's Baisaran Valley -- was just days away from getting transferred out of Kashmir. He was one of the 26 people the terrorists shot in cold blood at Baisaran Valley yesterday. His remains are being airlifted to his village in Arunachal Pradesh via Guwahati. Haliyang, who is from Tajang village in Lower Subansiri district, had gone to Pahalgam with his wife.

Further probe is underway, say officials. (Representational) Dibrugarh: A man suspected of stealing goats was lynched by a mob in Assam's Dibrugarh on Monday morning, said the police. Another man was critically injured during the attack. According to police, the incident took place around 10:30 am in the Hatigarh Bokpara Division of Bokul Tea Estate. Locals spotted two men allegedly trying to steal goats.
