Aromas are completely engaging with a savoury, fruit cake and plum character with a slightly spicy lift. The palate is sumptuously rich and balanced. It’s almost effortlessly smooth and lingering with loads of dark fruits massing in the middle palate before heading to a long finish. Terrific wine.

It comes from different clones within the Adelaide Hills, with some early picking adding the fine acid line through to the final wine. It was wild yeast fermented with full solids in Burgundy barrels, where it spent 7 months with regular stirring. Fine lemon zest and brioche aromas with a little saline minerality. Impressive with just a little buttery depth to the palate, completing.
