After fifty years of gameplay, there’s a lot of D&D lore out there, and the new 5.5E Dungeon Master’s Guide glossaries it. In a new video, Wizards of the Coast shows off the expansive lore glossary that awaits within the upcoming 5.5E Dungeon Master’s Guide. As you might expect, after fifty years of being the biggest fantasy RPG in town, there’s a fair bit of lore to D&D. Side note: I’m not sure when “the lore” started to appear to be a thing. I’m excited about it because lore is a great word.

A new BattleTech lore book came out today, BattleTech Universe, which takes a look at the more than thousand years of the BattleTech setting. It is an incredible resource for anyone playing in that particular sandbox.

The Electric State Roleplaying Game from Free League takes Simon Stålenhag’s dark vision of 1997 and brings it to your tabletop quite soon. Last year, Free League’s Simon-Stålenhag-artbook-inspired RPG, The Electric State, based on the artbook of the same name, was a huge hit on Kickstarter. No surprises there. Stålenhag has a knack for creating visually appealing environments that invite exploration and storytelling.

If you’re playing a Chaos Army of any flavor prepare have some Skaven available to ally in. These Regiments of Renown seem rather useful!This weekend we’re going to see the release of the new Skaven Battletome. And while not everyone plays Skaven, with the new Battletome, every Chaos player could now dip a toe in to the Gnawhole if they wanted. How? That’s all thanks to the Regiments of Renown coming. In total there are four to use but two of them can be taken as allies for other Chaos Armies.
