MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — A vehicle fire on Interstate 68 eastbound at mile marker 13 led to a brush fire and temporary lane closures Monday afternoon, according to reports. The incident was first reported at 2:56 p.m. as an SUV on fire. Within minutes, at 3:02 p.m., West Virginia State Police arrived on the scene and reported that the fire had spread to nearby brush, prompting authorities to shut down the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Authorities note that she has a heart condition, is hearing impaired, requires medication and may be experiencing dementia.
