The Hancock County music director you are about to meet is highly humble and puts his focus on his kids. Each time he waves his wand, Weir High School Band and Chorus Director Doug Torres creates musical magic. Principal Ted Arneault says winning this award is an amazing accomplishment for Doug Torres, who is in his very first year at Weir.

    WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Great things are happening at the corner of 10th and Main Streets in Wheeling. Newbridge Church hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning at the Newbridge Center located at 1000 Main Street, the gateway of Wheeling. City officials, community members, and parishioners were all invited inside the 130-year-old structure to learn more about renovations that have been underway since December.
