BELTSVILLE, Md. ― In just a few years, Kilmar Abrego Garcia built a comfortable life for himself in suburbia. He landed a job as a sheet metal apprentice, married and had a son, and moved into a white-brick house in a middle-class neighborhood, where red and yellow tulips spring from the front lawn and a GMC pickup takes up space in the driveway, a boat hitched to its rear.
