WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — Mayor Muriel Bowser is set to release her budget to the D.C. Council tomorrow, which will address $410 million in forced cuts from Congress and a projected billion-dollar revenue loss over the next few fiscal years. At this point, Bowser won't be testifying about the budget since the council hasn't scheduled a hearing. Bowser invited every councilmember to attend her budget unveiling event Tuesday, but 7News hasn't yet confirmed who from the council will be attending.

WASHINGTON (7News) — While the local Jewish community is mourning the deaths of a young couple, Yaron Lishinsky and Sarah Milgrim, authorities continue to investigate their murders. While there were no big updates in the case Friday, 7News spoke to a former director of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), who discussed just how their murders will be investigated. “Every stone will be unturned,” said Steven Dettelbach, who ended his role as director of the ATF in January.
