    Two 13-year-old boys were shot in front of a St. Petersburg convenience store Monday afternoon, leaving one critically injured, according to police. The shooting unfolded just before 4:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of 22nd Street South, said Yolanda Fernandez, a St. Petersburg Police Department spokesperson. The shooter then left in a car. Both boys were taken to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. One is in critical condition, Fernandez said, and the other is stable.
