Last week on March 18, at the State Capitol, the Committee on Education Finance brought up Education Finance Bill SF 1404: Prohibition on American Indian mascots. At the meeting, local school board member and Treasurer, Dave Cowan, testified for the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks.
