This study examined the regional distribution and factors associated with early marriage in Ghana. Age, education, ethnicity, family size, and geographical region were associated with early marriage in Ghana. The study found a 29.2% prevalence of early marriage, which is similar to the 29.9% reported in another study in Northern Ghana [36] but higher than the 20% reported in another study in Ghana [16].
