CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4) — An Iron County School District student was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition after an auto-pedestrian crash in Cedar City. Lt. Cameron Roden with Utah Highway Patrol said the incident happened on northbound I-15 near 400 West just before 9 a.m. The student was reportedly walking on the freeway and was struck by two vehicles. It is currently unclear why the student was walking on the highway as troopers said she did not have a car in the area.
