SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Happy Wednesday, Utah! Our Wednesday afternoon will feature mostly sunny skies across the Beehive State. A little residual moisture will allow for a slight chance for an isolated shower or two, but most of the region will begin to dry out in a big way. High temperatures will climb into the lower 70s across the Wasatch Front, with highs in the upper 70s for SW Utah.

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — UDOT crews have been working for weeks to clear Guardsman Pass to get it ready for the summer season. The Cottonwood road crew has made it all the way up to the top of the pass, but said that there’s still a lot of work to be done to clear the road. Griffin Youngren with the Cottonwood road crew said they’re cutting through 10 to 15-foot drifts to get the road clear. “It’s a slow process,” Youngren said.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Sunday, Utah! A chilly, winter-like storm is set to move into the Southwest over the next day or so, bringing snow, rain, and a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially across southern Utah. The action gets underway this morning and lasts through at least Tuesday morning. If you’ve got plans in the high country, especially above 9,000 feet in the southern Utah mountains, be ready for heavy snow and true winter conditions.
